Discovery Place Kids and FirstHealth Richmond Memorial Hospital Foundation are once again challenging Richmond County students and staff members to see which school can have the most participants in this year's Run for the Ribbons.

The school with the most racers wins $500. Second and third place prizes are $250 and $100, respectively.

Runners and walkers can participate in either the 5K or 1 Mile Family Fun Run. Fill out your school name in the line designated Team Name to qualify. Students and teachers receive discounted registration: $10 for either race through March 15 ($15 after March 15).

Following the race, winning schools will be awarded a check and will be publicized on the Richmond County Schools website as well as in local media outlets.
