Celebrate your big day the COVID-safe way with the entire Museum to yourself! Includes Museum admission for up to 50 guests for 2 hours (5 adults required), festive decorations and two Partyologists who host the party and manages the set-up and clean-up. During play time, we will gather everyone for a Science Show as well as ending the evening with Big Fun to celebrate the birthday child.

  • What are you doing to address health and safety concerns?

    In order to provide a safe and comfortable Birthday Party experience, our parties provide exclusive access to the Museum. Other than our Partyologists, you and your guests will be the only ones in the Museum during your party. As a part of our rigorous health and safety protocols, the Museum will be deep cleaned with CDC-approved disinfectant prior to your arrival. Additionally, all guests must comply with COVID-19 safety protocols, including health screenings upon entry, wearing masks for the duration of the party, and social distancing.

  • Are all guests required to wear a mask?

    The safety of our visitors is our top priority. As such, we are following the more stringent recommendations of the Center for Disease Control and Prevention. All guests age 2 and older and required to wear a mask. No exceptions.

  • What days are available for Birthday Parties?

    Birthday Parties are available Tuesday - Sunday.

  • What times are available for parties?

    Parties are available to begin at 5:00 p.m.

  • What ages are appropriate for parties?

    We offer birthday parties for ages 2-10.

  • Can I bring my own cake?

    Yes! You are welcome to bring cupcakes or individually wrapped treats that can be distributed at the end of the party. Discovery Place will provide a 'Celebration Station', 2 six-foot tables at the entry/exit that can be used for presents or food.

  • Can I bring food, snacks or drinks?

    As a part of our COVID-safe party experience, food and drink are not allowed inside the Museum. We encourage you to bring cupcakes or individually wrapped treats to give out to guests as they leave the party.

  • Can I bring my own decorations?

    Yes. While your dedicated 'Celebration Station' includes 2 six-foot tables with tablecloths, feel free to bring free-standing table decorations to make it your own. Please note, for the safety of our visitors and resident animals, balloons are not allowed in our facility.

  • What is your payment and cancellation policy?

    Full payment is required at the time of your reservation. Cancellations made with two week’s notice or less are non-refundable. Cancellations with more than two week’s notice are subject to a $100 cancellation fee.

  • How do I book a party?

    Call us at 910.997.5266 x300 and one of our Guest Sales representatives will be happy to help you plan a special day for your birthday child. Payment in full is required at the time of booking, and all reservations must be completed by phone.
