Essential Standards:

  • 5.L.1.2: Compare the major systems of the human body (digestive, respiratory, circulatory, muscular, skeletal, and cardiovascular) in terms of their functions necessary for life.

Objectives:

  • Students will understand the parts of an eyeball and its function.
  • Students will observe the lung function of the human body.
  • Students will explore X-rays of the human body with given different situations.
  • Students will observe a real example of a human heart and brain.
  • Students will learn about the different systems of the body and their purpose.
