Exhibitions I Can Wonder Why Lab

What is a solid? A liquid? A gas? Does your little scientist know about non-Newtonian substances?

Join us throughout October as we explore the difference between solids, liquids, gases and polymers with a variety of hands-on activities.

On Tuesdays and Thursdays, engage in extraordinary experiences involving the three states of matter, Solids, Liquids & Gas...Oh My! On Wednesdays and Fridays, get to know Wizards at Work and try your hand at some cool chemistry.

Additional activities this month include:

October 8 & 9: Bubble Blast - Uncover the secrets and science behind bubbles and some of our favorite bubble wands.

October 15 & 16: Slime Time - Mix two liquids, a touch of glitter and a whole lot of science to create an ooey, gooey, sparkly concoction.

October 16 - 22: National Chemistry Week - Join us as we celebrate National Chemistry Week by concocting experiments that are sure to blow you away.

October 22 & 23: Pumpkin Spice & Everything Nice - Oobleck is our favorite non-Newtonian substance. We will use basic kitchen chemistry to mix up this pumpkin spiced sensory delight.
