April is all about Our Planet Earth. Join us for a celebration of what makes Earth so special. We also will learn how to protect our environment and keep our planet clean.

Join us for our favorite environmentally friendly Story Time tales, including Michael Recycle by Ellie Bethel, The Giving Tree by Shel Silverstein and The Tiny Seed by Eric Carle.

On Tuesdays and Thursdays, learn about Important Insects and how they keep nature in balance. On Wednesdays and Fridays, join us for a special program about plant awareness, where kids can plants their own sunflower seeds to take home.

Additional activities this month include:

April 9: Can You Dig It? - Explore different types of soil and learn why dirt is such a valuable resource to the Earth.

April 16: Don't Be a Litterbug - Don't throw that out! Turn scraps into beautiful pieces of art.

April 22: Earth Day - Help plant vegetables and flowers and learn about the many ways the earth provides food for us.

April 24: Michael Recycle - Learn the story of Michael Recycle and participate in recycling activities.

April 29: Arbor Day - Arbor Day is a day to care for and plant trees. Join us as we celebrate trees and all they do for us.

April 30: Ecosystem Explorers - Discover different types of ecosystems and what makes each of them unique.
