This month is all about celebrations. From the Museum’s fourth birthday to Mardi Gras, you don’t want to miss out on all the festivities throughout February.

On Tuesdays and Thursdays, get ready to Pump It Up as we explore games from all over the world to get our bodies moving and keep our hearts healthy. On Wednesdays and Fridays, celebrate Black History Month as we learn all about notable African-American inventors and their creations.

Additional activities this month include:

February 4 & 5: I'm Flossin' - Celebrate your smile as little guests learn about the responsibilities and importance of keeping their teeth clean.

February 11 & 12: Valentine's Day - Roses are red, violets are blue, we’re celebrating Valentine’s Day and hope you will too! Learn about this lovely holiday and create a beautiful valentine for someone special.

February 18 & 19: Hoodie-Hoo - Make hats for February 20, the official Hoodie-Hoo celebration. This holiday was created to help chase away those winter blues.

February 25: Fourth Birthday Celebration + FREE Admission - Discovery Place Kids-Rockingham is celebrating its fourth birthday today, and we have a gift for you — FREE admission! All guests can enjoy an adventure in play at no cost. Little guests will decorate birthday crowns and dance with our mascot CAN-CAN during Big Fun.

February 25 & 26: Glow Celebration - Ready, set, glow! From glow in the dark “paint” to fire of different colors, we’ll be experimenting with luminescence as we create chemical reactions in the dark.

February 28: Mardi Gras - Purple, gold and green! Celebrate and learn about Mardi Gras.
