How long was the T-Rex? How small was the Ankylosaur? What's the difference between an herbivore, a carnivore and an omnivore?

Little paleontologists will learn the answers to these questions and more as we discover dinosaurs throughout the month of May.

Plus, the Museum will be open on one special Monday, May 30, as we honor Memorial Day.

Join us for some prehistoric Story Time tales, Saturday Night at the Dinosaur Stomp by Carol Diggory Shields, When Dinosaurs Came With Everything by Elise Broach and How Do Dinosaurs Say Good Night? by Jane Yolen.

Meet Allie the allosaurus, Stew the stegosaurus, Denny the deinosuchus and other talented dinosaurs in our daily Puppet Show, Pangea's Got Talent.

On Tuesdays and Thursdays, have fun with math as we find out how many children’s feet can fit inside of a T-Rex footprint, the length of a T-Rex tooth and other dinosaur measurements. On Wednesdays and Fridays, learn how fossils are excavated and see if you can find your own!

Additional activities this month include:

May 7: Junior Paleontologist - Who is a paleontologist and what do they do? What tools do they use? Join us for some hands-on training in the field of paleontology.

May 14: You Are What You Eat - Do you know the differences between carnivores, herbivores and omnivores? Learn what foods tantalized the taste buds of different dinosaurs.

May 22: Volcano Eruption - Make your own volcano and watch how we can make lava ooze from the top using science.?

May 29: Dinosaur Hunt - We're going on a hunt for dinosaurs. Oh, what we'll learn along the way!?
